COMPLETE ROOM!!!

N coth

i had been thinking about simulating worn clothes laying on the floor . then i had an idea.
i decided to make a pair of socks,a towel and a j-cloth. then i decided to use ncloth the adjust the tension, gravitational pull and friction. i then placed a plane below these items and played the sequence. i then paused the sequence and duplicated the items. this archived the look of cloths that had been just dropped on the ground.
i hung the towel on the wardrobe, the clothes in the bag and the cloth over the desk chair.

TRYING OUT DIFFERENT TEXTURES FOR THE PC TABLE

I made a glass shader using an anisotropic shader and playing around with the transparency, reflectivity and the shaders gradient colours which i assigned as black to white

toothpste

i made this my extruding faces and using the sculpt tool for the very first time. i think i achieved the look a was going for, i wanted it to seem like the house room had been live in .(toothpaste used)
this is a trendy topshop bag i modelled from a simple cube. the processes i went through to accomplish this was deleting the top faces and then pulling in the neccessary vertices in order to acheive the shape

hoover texture

this is how i textured my hoover

CHANGING WALLPAPER

I'M TRYING TO CHANGE THE WALLPAPER TO TRY TO PORTRAY A CERTAIN TYPE OR PERSON

more stills of what i have done so far

MESSING AROUND WITH LIGHTING

while lighting and noticed that the outisde lightng peeking though wasnt enough to light the whole room. so now i have added dimmed area lights inside

Today i have decided to create a cork board and used small planes to create paper.i have also wound up the window blinds to let more light in

PUTING THINGS TOGETHER

more

here are some of the other things i modelled for the room..

The first is a border commonly found around most living rooms and some bedrooms. the grooves give this feature away getting the curves in the grooves was a slightly tedious

The second is a china plate which i made in a little over 2mins. curve lofting was used.
I then found the perfect picture of the plan view of a plate. u then planar mapped it on

The third are the window blinds that i mentioned i would model
i will wind these open to get the lighting in the room i need

draws

was very easy to make. i messed around with the vertices to achieve the tapered corners

ROOM LAYOUT

i have been experimenting with different room shapes and dimensions. I've tried high and low ceilings, higher and lower windows and many different shapes of rooms. while watching an episode of lost, i remembered there was a bunker with very low windows so i decided to go with that look

OTHER LIGHTS

to accomplish this i lofted curves and extruded faces

IDEAS

I think that toys might be a good idea to include in the room as another means of giving the feel of being lived in. this could be anything from cars to teddy's
