i had been thinking about simulating worn clothes laying on the floor . then i had an idea.
i decided to make a pair of socks,a towel and a j-cloth. then i decided to use ncloth the adjust the tension, gravitational pull and friction. i then placed a plane below these items and played the sequence. i then paused the sequence and duplicated the items. this archived the look of cloths that had been just dropped on the ground.
i hung the towel on the wardrobe, the clothes in the bag and the cloth over the desk chair.

MESSING AROUND WITH LIGHTING
more
here are some of the other things i modelled for the room..
The first is a border commonly found around most living rooms and some bedrooms. the grooves give this feature away getting the curves in the grooves was a slightly tedious
The second is a china plate which i made in a little over 2mins. curve lofting was used.
I then found the perfect picture of the plan view of a plate. u then planar mapped it on
The third are the window blinds that i mentioned i would model
i will wind these open to get the lighting in the room i need
